In the last few years the city has really fixed up our aquatic parks. Replacing a number of pools with splash pads and upgrading other pools with new features including slides and adding more accessibility for everyone. Just like the regular parks, we will try to update these as improvements are made. Please remember, this is our take on the parks. You should go experience them for yourselves. This might be one of the most fun ways to keep cool in the Kansas heat. Props to artist Connie Arnett, who spearheaded the creation of the five new splash pads.
