We stopped by to visit the new SprayGround but it was closed back in 2021. A sign said it was closed until further notice.

Jump to summer 2022, and Evergreen is alive and splashing! I got there early and one of the city’s pool crew let me in and fired up the water.

This is another example of what a great job the city did to create a fun environment for the neighborhood, despite losing their pool. There is plenty of shade and water features to keep everyone cool.
Besides the big Aztec fountain there is a slide with a Mayan-esque theme and a rock arch with a waterfall that seems like a great place to sit on the hottest of summer days.

I added a few picks from our original visit to Evergreen Park.
