Spruce Park

A small park named Spruce Park was acquired in 1971 through federal funds. It has a playground and a basketball court. A young couple was playing with their puppy, Fendi, who became attached to the visitors.

Chautauqua Park

This park, developed by the Uptown Neighborhood Association, is named after a 19th century adult education and social movement. With beautiful landscaping and a fence protecting it from a nearby canal and bike path, it’s a great spot for a family picnic.
