The creation is a vision from the mind and genius of a friend and co-worker, Jamey Reiger.
It started as a simple request/plea for him to work with us:

Hi Jamey-
I don’t know if you have seen it, but I am building a website dedicated to the unique things about Wichita. (History, art, stories, etc.)
I am looking for someone that could create a logo for the site.
I’m not sure if you would be interested or know someone who be willing to help out.
I don’t have a ton of money, but I would be willing to pay for the work.
Please share any thoughts.
What’re you thinking for the logo? Something Wichita based or regional?
I do have an idea that popped into my head immediately given the feel of the website.
He showed up at my desk and sketched out his idea.

Originally I had thought of a more geometric pattern, but this is what spilled out. I really do like the Keeper.
I think I might put an emblem on the car, but let me know your thoughts. What colors are you thinking?

I originally thought the black and white would be cheaper as far as printing goes, you know, biz card, postcards and maybe some t-shirts during Riverfest. Then of course you know marketing for the restaurants/hotels and casinos…. Pretty much a Hard Rock Café set up. LOL
