#99 South Woodland Park – 1900 Heiserman
Background: According to the city’s website: “This portion of Woodland Park lies south of the Arkansas River and constitutes a strip of land along the riverbank.” That is super helpful.. Thanks Wichita.

What we did: Saturday was a great day to walk along the river. The wooded area between the water and the walk makes for a peaceful and scenic stroll.

During our walk Jeremy found a painted rock. It had flowers painted on it, along with, “ICT, Be strong! COVID-19 Pandemic.”

There is also a small playground and a few picnic tables.
There are plenty of baseball diamonds in the park system but only one is home to the Friends Falcons.
