#61 Palisade Park – 5433 Palisade
Background: Another riveting background story from the city’s website: This 4.59 acre parcel of land was acquired by the Wichita Park Alliance in 1992 and donated to the City for the purpose of providing a neighborhood park.
What We Did: We did stop by to have some fun and see what we could see. A swingin’ place called Palisades Park. (those are lyrics from a song about the famous park in New Jersey) We were surprised, there is nothing in this park. Honest, like no playground, sand pit, path, nothing. Not even a sign. We hope the city will develop it into something more in the future.
