This is a smaller cemetery, but there is room for growth. The cemetery has about 164 people interred right now.
The Valley Center Municipal Cemetery was opened in December 2004.
The oldest grave belongs to Janice Ann Sutsser Vredenburg July 9, 1947 to March 27, 2000. Although someone pointed out she died before the cemetery opened. So I am not sure how to word that one.
She is buried in the same grave as her son, who died at 36 years old.
There are no famous graves listed at the cemetery.
