There are no famous people buried at this cemetery, at least according to findagrave.com. However, there are plenty of stories buried among the more than 1400 interred people.

Henry M. Holm was born on May 6, 1873 and passed away on July 3 1874 he was 1 year old. 

Henry Holm had six siblings.

His father, Peter Ferdinand Holm, was a well known man in Goddard.

Peter F. Holm, born on June 17, 1846, near Meldorf, Germany, was a successful farmer in Sedgwick County, Kansas. According to genealogytrails.com, he descended from the esteemed house of Piel, known for their service as court officials under Adolphus of Sweden, Holm received his education in Germany before entering the wholesale and retail grocery business in Meldorf. Struggling with ill health, he spent seven years at sea, exploring ports worldwide. 

Immigrating to the United States in 1869, he initially resided in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, where he mined for three years before marrying Miss W. Elizabeth Lorenz von Frederickshof of Eddelak, Germany, on February 4, 1872. Together, they settled in Sedgwick County in July 1872, buying 160 acres of land in Attica Township. 

They raised five children, while overcoming the challenges of pioneer life. 

Holm was also active in fraternal organizations, belonging to the Masonic Lodge in Wichita and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows in Goddard, along with memberships in the Sunflower Lodge and Midian Shriners.

According to his Wichita Eagle obituary, Holm died on his 56th wedding anniversary. He was 82-years-old.
