#3. Henry Park – 1325 S Ellis
This week we decided to visit three parks because they all have something in common.
Background: Acquired in 1886, this is a very small neighborhood park.

Henry was a Swiss immigrant who came to Wichita in a covered wagon, but died a millionaire and one of the city’s most respected businessmen.

What we did: There were some hooligans in the park so we stopped on the other end of the lot took our pictures and moved on

Did you know Wichita had a rail system to take residents from the southside to downtown? The route still exists today along with another Schweiter-related park.
