#102 Sunset Park – 1851 N Keith
Background: From the city: The land was purchased from Tyler Associates January 9, 1981, and was developed into a neighborhood park.
What we did: Saturday was a beautiful day so we took in two parks. Sunset is not a big park, but it offers a lot of wide open space.
We spotted a few people flying kites in a large field.
There are tennis courts and a soccer field along with a nice jungle gym. Which thanks to the coronavirus, no one can play on it.
I did get on the stairs and climbed around, but did not use my hands. Let’s be honest, those handrails and bars are probably pretty gross and germy all year long.
It’s home to the first baseball field for those with disabilities.
