Pratt was founded in 1884 and is named after Caleb Pratt, a Civil War officer from the Kansas Infantry, who was killed in the Battle of Wilson’s Creek near Springfield, Missouri.
Pratt’s native son, Bill Farmer was named a “Disney Legend” in September 2009. He is the voice of Goofy and Pluto.
