On the outskirts of Bentley sits Pleasant Valley Cemetery. The cemetery provides eternal rest for about 2,000 people.
The oldest death date belongs to J. Richmond Paul. He was born in 1822 and died in 1871. He was 48 or 49 years old. Not much is known about Paul. He was married to Laura and they had three children. All three children are interred at Pleasant Valley. It does not appear that any of them were married.
This cemetery will stick in my mind for one specific reason. I lost my car keys. You can read about that adventure on my blog.
