This is a very small cemetery.
Only three people are believed to be interred here.
This cemetery was on the land once owned by Elmon and Caroline Pierpont.
According to findagrave.com, “The cemetery is still here because at some point it was deeded separately from the other land.”
The family lived on the property when their son, Elbert, died. It is assumed Elmon and Caroline were buried here too. I am glad the county has put up signs asking people not to dig in the small plot of land.
