Our journey this weekend took us to the beautiful town of Garden Plain. There are four cemeteries in the area.
Our first stop was Calvary Methodist Cemetery. There are about 300 interred here.
And according to findagrave.com there are no famous people here.
According to findagrave.com the oldest grave belongs to Alma Fawceit Janney. She was born on October 30, 1866 in Martinsville, Ohio. She passed away 17 years later on July 13, 1884.
The cemetery shares its land with St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
